Being headquartered in the Pacific Northwest brings with it many benefits: top talent, a rich technology ecosystem and excellent nearby academic institutions – not to mention the stunning natural environment. It also brings with it a couple of challenges that those working in places like San Francisco or London might recognize, most notably the fierce competition with other tech companies for the smartest people.

The good thing is that these challenges force organizations like ours to step up our game and make sure we’re one of the best places to work in the area. In fact, it elevates everyone to offer the best possible working environments. It’s no surprise that Seattle is regularly in the top handful of places to work in the country.

At NetMotion, we put a lot of energy into establishing all of our global locations as world-class places for employees to get their jobs done. We do this for the people that make us who we are – happiness and satisfaction is the KPI that matters the most – but when someone else notices and acknowledges this, it makes it all the better.

We’re thrilled to share that NetMotion has been named among the best places to work in Washington by Seattle Business Magazine, ranking at 26th in the entire state (that’s above Amazon, Microsoft and Facebook, for what that’s worth).

Officially One of the Best Places to Work in 2019

It’s satisfying to be acknowledged in this way, but of course the main reason NetMotion is a great place to work is the people that already work here.

There are values we hold dearly, and every quarter there are awards for those that exhibit them the most strongly – these include “bringing a positive attitude and family spirit” as well as “being creative and taking initiative.” Cultural fit is the number one thing that hiring managers look for in candidates, and we believe it shows in the close, friendly group of people that call NetMotion home.

That’s probably enough horn-tooting for now, but if you think you’d be a good match for NetMotion, then we’d love to hear from you. Take a look at our open roles and get in touch – it could be the start of something beautiful.
